Job Description

Passengers in Vanderbijlpark trust a mine shift transport service to get them there safely, and that trust is on your shoulders. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

Home base is a mine shift transport service on the Vanderbijlpark side of Gauteng.

What you'll actually do

Inspect the bus before each trip: tyres, brakes, doors, emergency exits
Handle breakdowns calmly and keep passengers safe until help arrives
Pick up and drop off schoolchildren only at approved points
Give tourists a friendly welcome and help with luggage on charters
Keep the bus clean inside and report any damage
Follow speed limits strictly; buses are tracked

What you need

Valid Code 10 or Code 14 licence
Punctual for very early starts
Patient and friendly with passengers
Medically fit
Valid PrDP for passengers (P)
Clean driving and criminal record

Extra points for

Fluent in more than one language
Tour coach experience with charters
Experience on mine or staff transport routes
