Job Description

Every parcel scanned, every drop confirmed: that is the job at an engineering firm in Brakpan. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

You'll be based at an engineering firm in Brakpan. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. The first two weeks are spent shadowing someone experienced.

What you'll actually do

Fill up the vehicle and keep fuel slips for the logbook
Follow the delivery app for route and stop order
Deliver chronic medication to patients' homes and confirm ID
Phone customers when the address is hard to find
Collect spares and parts from suppliers and bring them to the workshop
Bank cheques, post documents and run office errands

What you need

Good sense of direction and map reading
Smartphone and comfortable using delivery apps
Able to work Saturdays
At least 1 year of driving experience

Helpful, not essential

PrDP for staff shuttle posts
Your own reliable bakkie or bike for owner-driver contracts
Previous courier or last-mile experience
