Job Description

You'll build and ship features that real users touch every day, for an e-commerce platform in Umhlanga. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

You'll be based at an e-commerce platform in Umhlanga. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

What you'll actually do

Write unit and integration tests before you merge
Handle personal data safely, with POPIA rules in mind
Investigate production bugs using logs and monitoring dashboards
Build and consume REST or GraphQL APIs
Join daily stand-ups and sprint planning

You'll need

Good SQL and understanding of relational databases
Stable internet and a quiet workspace for remote days
Experience writing automated tests
A computer science or IT qualification, or a portfolio that proves you can build

Nice if you have

Knowledge of secure coding and the OWASP Top 10
Docker and Kubernetes experience
Cloud certification on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
