Customers bring their problems to your counter at a courier depot counter in Montague Gardens, and leave with answers. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

This post is Montague Gardens-based, with most of your time spent at a courier depot counter. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

• Upsell contract upgrades, accessories or cover when it fits the customer.
• Take payments, balance your till and bank cash at close.
• Do SIM swaps and RICA registrations with proper ID checks.
• Process returns, exchanges and credit notes under the Consumer Protection Act.
• Log complaints and pass them to the store or branch manager.

• Good on a computer and point-of-sale system
• Matric (Grade 12) certificate
• Accurate with cash and paperwork
• Retail or customer service experience of at least a year
• You can stay polite with a long queue watching

• Speaking the main local language of your area
• RICA and cellular product knowledge
• Medical scheme or insurance product knowledge

• Fixed roster published two weeks ahead
• Monthly sales incentive on upgrades and add-ons
• Staff discount on products
• Product training and certifications paid for

• Apply close to home: stores prefer people who can reach the mall reliably for opening and closing shifts.
• Dress as if you already work the counter when you drop off a CV or go for the interview.
