Job Description

You'll help walk-in customers at a mall cellular store in Mossel Bay, face to face, all day. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

You'll be based at a mall cellular store in Mossel Bay. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

What your day looks like

Call customers when repairs or orders are ready to collect.
Take payments, balance your till and bank cash at close.
Upsell contract upgrades, accessories or cover when it fits the customer.
Track parcels, reissue waybills and arrange redelivery at the counter.
Greet customers, find out what they need and manage the queue ticket system.

What you need

You can stay polite with a long queue watching
Retail or customer service experience of at least a year
Matric (Grade 12) certificate
Good on a computer and point-of-sale system
Presentable and approachable with all kinds of customers

Extra points for

Medical scheme or insurance product knowledge
A Customer Service NQF certificate
RICA and cellular product knowledge
