Job Description

Steady shift work with a mine shift transport service in East London for drivers with a passenger PrDP. Bring a calm head on busy days and you'll be fine.

You'll be based at a mine shift transport service in East London. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

What you'll actually do

Pick up and drop off schoolchildren only at approved points
Keep the bus clean inside and report any damage
Inspect the bus before each trip: tyres, brakes, doors, emergency exits
Check passenger tickets, tags or staff cards when boarding
Write the trip log with times, kilometres and fuel
Give tourists a friendly welcome and help with luggage on charters

You'll need

Valid PrDP for passengers (P)
Patient and friendly with passengers
Punctual for very early starts
Clean driving and criminal record
