Job Description

Passengers in Johannesburg CBD trust a tour and charter company to get them there safely, and that trust is on your shoulders. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

You'll be based at a tour and charter company in Johannesburg CBD. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

What your day looks like

Count passengers and make sure nobody stands beyond the limit
Write the trip log with times, kilometres and fuel
Check passenger tickets, tags or staff cards when boarding
Keep the bus clean inside and report any damage
Handle breakdowns calmly and keep passengers safe until help arrives
Follow speed limits strictly; buses are tracked
Drive fixed routes and keep to the timetable

You'll need

Punctual for very early starts
At least 3 years of bus or taxi driving
Valid PrDP for passengers (P)
Patient and friendly with passengers
Medically fit
Valid Code 10 or Code 14 licence

Helpful, not essential

Tour coach experience with charters
First-aid certificate
