Job Description

You'll run local delivery routes around Benoni for a building-supplies merchant, dropping 10 to 20 stops a day. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

This post is Benoni-based, with most of your time spent at a building-supplies merchant. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.

The work, day to day

Deliver to shops, sites and homes on your route
Fill in the trip sheet with kilometres, fuel and stops
Collect cash or cheques on COD deliveries and bank them correctly
Get signed invoices back to the office at the end of each day
Keep empties and returns separate for credit

What you need

Clean driving record
Valid PrDP for goods (G)
At least 2 years driving rigid trucks
Valid Code 10 (C1) licence
Friendly and professional with customers
Good knowledge of roads in and around the city
