Job Description

Behind every truck on the road is a controller; at a courier operations centre in Johannesburg CBD, that could be you. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

This post is Johannesburg CBD-based, with most of your time spent at a courier operations centre. Start date: as soon as possible for the right person.

What you'll actually do

Check driver hours so nobody drives too long without rest
Capture trip sheets, fuel and toll costs on the system
Compile daily reports on trips completed and late deliveries
Arrange breakdown recovery and replacement vehicles
Book vehicle services, licence renewals and roadworthy tests

What you need

Able to work shifts in a 24-hour control office
Good with Excel and email
Matric
Calm and decisive when things go wrong
