Job Description

You'll run local delivery routes around Coega for a furniture retailer, dropping 10 to 20 stops a day. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

The work is in Coega, Eastern Cape, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day.

What your day looks like

Operate the truck-mounted crane to offload bricks or pallets
Check the truck's oil, water, tyres and lights before leaving
Report damaged goods or refused deliveries straight away
Fill in the trip sheet with kilometres, fuel and stops
Collect cash or cheques on COD deliveries and bank them correctly
Keep empties and returns separate for credit
Check the load against invoices before signing it out

What you need

Clean driving record
Valid Code 10 (C1) licence
Good knowledge of roads in and around the city
Friendly and professional with customers
Honest with cash and customer goods

Nice if you have

Experience on a sales-and-delivery route
Speaking local languages on township routes
Code 14 licence (a step up)
