Job Description

Home every night: a furniture retailer in Komani needs a steady Code 10 driver for daily routes. If you like clear targets and knowing where you stand, this is for you.

The work is in Komani, Eastern Cape, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

What you'll actually do

Check the load against invoices before signing it out
Deliver to shops, sites and homes on your route
Manage your assistant on the truck and share the offloading
Keep empties and returns separate for credit
Get signed invoices back to the office at the end of each day
Fill in the trip sheet with kilometres, fuel and stops

You'll need

At least 2 years driving rigid trucks
Friendly and professional with customers
Valid PrDP for goods (G)
Good knowledge of roads in and around the city
Honest with cash and customer goods

Helpful, not essential

Experience on a sales-and-delivery route
Speaking local languages on township routes
