Job Description

Home every night: a beverage wholesaler in Umhlanga needs a steady Code 10 driver for daily routes. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

This post is in Umhlanga (KwaZulu-Natal). Please only apply if you can travel there daily. Shifts rotate, so you'll need to be flexible about days and nights.

The work, day to day

Deliver to shops, sites and homes on your route
Keep empties and returns separate for credit
Get signed invoices back to the office at the end of each day
Fill in the trip sheet with kilometres, fuel and stops
Operate the truck-mounted crane to offload bricks or pallets
Check the load against invoices before signing it out

You'll need

Friendly and professional with customers
Honest with cash and customer goods
Valid Code 10 (C1) licence
At least 2 years driving rigid trucks

Nice if you have

Speaking local languages on township routes
Code 14 licence (a step up)
