Code 10 Delivery Driver (Rigid Truck)

Drive, deliver, get the signature, next stop: this is route work for a building-supplies merchant in Gqeberha. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

The work is in Gqeberha, Eastern Cape, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.

• Check the truck's oil, water, tyres and lights before leaving
• Keep empties and returns separate for credit
• Report damaged goods or refused deliveries straight away
• Plan your drop order with the dispatch clerk each morning
• Get signed invoices back to the office at the end of each day

• Good knowledge of roads in and around the city
• At least 2 years driving rigid trucks
• Valid Code 10 (C1) licence
