Job Description

You'll run local delivery routes around Hammarsdale for a furniture retailer, dropping 10 to 20 stops a day. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

The site is in Hammarsdale; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying.

What you'll actually do

Report damaged goods or refused deliveries straight away
Plan your drop order with the dispatch clerk each morning
Check the load against invoices before signing it out
Keep empties and returns separate for credit
Collect cash or cheques on COD deliveries and bank them correctly

What you need

Friendly and professional with customers
Valid Code 10 (C1) licence
At least 2 years driving rigid trucks
Honest with cash and customer goods

Extra points for

Experience on a sales-and-delivery route
Crane or HIAB operator certificate
