Job Description

The road is your office with a cold-chain logistics fleet based in Prospecton, and the load gets there because of you. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

You'll be based at a cold-chain logistics fleet in Prospecton. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Start date: as soon as possible for the right person.

What your day looks like

Carry out fuel stops with the fuel card and keep the slips
Check reefer temperatures and record them on cold-chain loads
Complete border paperwork at Beitbridge, Lebombo or other posts
Drive planned routes and stop only at approved truck stops
Log driving hours and take the required rest breaks
Deliver to customers and get proof-of-delivery signed and stamped

What you need

Clean criminal record
Clean driving record with no serious accidents
Valid Code 14 (EC) licence
Able to be away from home for several nights at a time
Valid PrDP (G for goods, D for dangerous goods on tankers)

Helpful, not essential

Clean record on a telematics driving score
Knowledge of SADC border routes
