Job Description

Early starts, clear routes and people depending on you: a mine shift transport service in Ballito is hiring bus drivers. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

Home base is a mine shift transport service on the Ballito side of KwaZulu-Natal. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.

The work, day to day

Inspect the bus before each trip: tyres, brakes, doors, emergency exits
Write the trip log with times, kilometres and fuel
Check passenger tickets, tags or staff cards when boarding
Handle breakdowns calmly and keep passengers safe until help arrives
Pick up and drop off schoolchildren only at approved points
Count passengers and make sure nobody stands beyond the limit

You'll need

Valid PrDP for passengers (P)
Clean driving and criminal record
Patient and friendly with passengers
At least 3 years of bus or taxi driving
Punctual for very early starts
Valid Code 10 or Code 14 licence
