Job Description

Experienced Code 14 drivers are in short supply, and a fuel distribution fleet in Prospecton is hiring. Good for someone who wants to build a solid track record they can put on their CV.

This post is in Prospecton (KwaZulu-Natal). Please only apply if you can travel there daily.

What your day looks like

Deliver to customers and get proof-of-delivery signed and stamped
Report breakdowns, delays and incidents to the controller immediately
Carry out fuel stops with the fuel card and keep the slips
Log driving hours and take the required rest breaks
Do a full pre-trip inspection: tyres, brakes, lights, couplings and fluids

Must-haves

Medically fit, including eyesight
Clean criminal record
Valid Code 14 (EC) licence
Able to be away from home for several nights at a time

Nice if you have

Clean record on a telematics driving score
Knowledge of SADC border routes
