Job Description

You'll zip parcels, spares or documents around Pietermaritzburg for a motor spares shop, all day, all over town. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

Location: Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

What your day looks like

Fill up the vehicle and keep fuel slips for the logbook
Return undelivered parcels to the depot with a reason code
Collect spares and parts from suppliers and bring them to the workshop
Scan parcels on delivery and take a photo or signature
Phone customers when the address is hard to find
Deliver chronic medication to patients' homes and confirm ID

You'll need

At least 1 year of driving experience
Smartphone and comfortable using delivery apps
Good sense of direction and map reading
Clean driving record and no criminal record

Helpful, not essential

Previous courier or last-mile experience
Your own reliable bakkie or bike for owner-driver contracts

On offer
