Job Description

Customers across Klerksdorp wait on your truck, so a frozen food distributor needs someone reliable behind the wheel. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

You'll report in Klerksdorp. Relocation is not covered for this one. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

What your day looks like

Keep empties and returns separate for credit
Plan your drop order with the dispatch clerk each morning
Manage your assistant on the truck and share the offloading
Fill in the trip sheet with kilometres, fuel and stops
Report damaged goods or refused deliveries straight away
Operate the truck-mounted crane to offload bricks or pallets

Must-haves

Honest with cash and customer goods
Valid PrDP for goods (G)
Clean driving record
At least 2 years driving rigid trucks

Helpful, not essential

Code 14 licence (a step up)
Crane or HIAB operator certificate
