Code 10 Driver (Frozen Foods Route) – Permanent

Home every night: a furniture retailer in Pretoria West needs a steady Code 10 driver for daily routes. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

This post is in Pretoria West (Gauteng). Please only apply if you can travel there daily. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

• Operate the truck-mounted crane to offload bricks or pallets
• Collect cash or cheques on COD deliveries and bank them correctly
• Manage your assistant on the truck and share the offloading
• Keep empties and returns separate for credit
• Get signed invoices back to the office at the end of each day

• Honest with cash and customer goods
• At least 2 years driving rigid trucks
• Valid PrDP for goods (G)
• Clean driving record
• Good knowledge of roads in and around the city
• Valid Code 10 (C1) licence

• Delivery incentive per completed route
• Home every night
• Overtime on month-end and peak days
• Company-paid PrDP renewals

• Mention cash handling if you have done COD deliveries. Honest cash drivers are what distributors worry about most.
• If your PrDP expires soon, renew it before applying. An expired PrDP is an automatic no.
