Job Description

You'll run local delivery routes around Midrand for a frozen food distributor, dropping 10 to 20 stops a day. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

Location: Midrand, Gauteng. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first.

What you'll actually do

Keep empties and returns separate for credit
Fill in the trip sheet with kilometres, fuel and stops
Manage your assistant on the truck and share the offloading
Check the load against invoices before signing it out
Deliver to shops, sites and homes on your route
Get signed invoices back to the office at the end of each day

You'll need

Friendly and professional with customers
Valid PrDP for goods (G)
Good knowledge of roads in and around the city
Clean driving record
At least 2 years driving rigid trucks

Extra points for

Crane or HIAB operator certificate
Speaking local languages on township routes
