Job Description

Drive, deliver, get the signature, next stop: this is route work for a building-supplies merchant in Kempton Park. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

This post is in Kempton Park (Gauteng). Please only apply if you can travel there daily.

The work, day to day

Fill in the trip sheet with kilometres, fuel and stops
Check the load against invoices before signing it out
Operate the truck-mounted crane to offload bricks or pallets
Plan your drop order with the dispatch clerk each morning
Deliver to shops, sites and homes on your route
Get signed invoices back to the office at the end of each day
Check the truck's oil, water, tyres and lights before leaving

You'll need

Valid Code 10 (C1) licence
Valid PrDP for goods (G)
Clean driving record
Honest with cash and customer goods
