Code 10 Furniture Delivery Driver – Fixed-Term

You'll run local delivery routes around Krugersdorp for a furniture retailer, dropping 10 to 20 stops a day. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

This post is Krugersdorp-based, with most of your time spent at a furniture retailer.

• Fill in the trip sheet with kilometres, fuel and stops
• Keep empties and returns separate for credit
• Check the load against invoices before signing it out
• Check the truck's oil, water, tyres and lights before leaving
• Plan your drop order with the dispatch clerk each morning
• Get signed invoices back to the office at the end of each day

• Valid Code 10 (C1) licence
• Friendly and professional with customers
• Good knowledge of roads in and around the city
• Valid PrDP for goods (G)
• At least 2 years driving rigid trucks

• Overtime on month-end and peak days

• Name the areas you know well. A driver who already knows the route saves the company money from day one.
