Job Description

Experienced Code 14 drivers are in short supply, and a cross-border transport company in Pretoria East is hiring. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

This post is Pretoria East-based, with most of your time spent at a cross-border transport company.

What your day looks like

Carry out fuel stops with the fuel card and keep the slips
Keep the cab clean and report defects at the end of each trip
Drive planned routes and stop only at approved truck stops
Log driving hours and take the required rest breaks
Check the load is secured, strapped or sealed before leaving the depot
Report breakdowns, delays and incidents to the controller immediately

What you need

Valid PrDP (G for goods, D for dangerous goods on tankers)
Passport for cross-border routes
Clean driving record with no serious accidents
Medically fit, including eyesight
Able to be away from home for several nights at a time
Valid Code 14 (EC) licence
