Job Description

The road is your office with a coal haulage contractor based in Bloemfontein, and the load gets there because of you. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

Home base is a coal haulage contractor on the Bloemfontein side of Free State. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

The work, day to day

Keep the cab clean and report defects at the end of each trip
Keep the logbook and tachograph or telematics records up to date
Drive planned routes and stop only at approved truck stops
Follow hazchem rules, placards and emergency procedures on tanker loads
Report breakdowns, delays and incidents to the controller immediately

You'll need

Valid Code 14 (EC) licence
Clean criminal record
Medically fit, including eyesight
At least 3 years on Code 14 trucks
