Job Description

Long hours, clean record, safe arrival every time: that is what a fuel distribution fleet in Ermelo pays for. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

Home base is a fuel distribution fleet on the Ermelo side of Mpumalanga.

The work, day to day

Deliver to customers and get proof-of-delivery signed and stamped
Report breakdowns, delays and incidents to the controller immediately
Log driving hours and take the required rest breaks
Follow hazchem rules, placards and emergency procedures on tanker loads
Complete border paperwork at Beitbridge, Lebombo or other posts
Drive planned routes and stop only at approved truck stops
Keep the logbook and tachograph or telematics records up to date

What you need

Valid PrDP (G for goods, D for dangerous goods on tankers)
Medically fit, including eyesight
Valid Code 14 (EC) licence
Clean criminal record

Nice if you have

Dangerous goods training certificate
Clean record on a telematics driving score
