Job Description

Experienced Code 14 drivers are in short supply, and a cross-border transport company in Ermelo is hiring. If you like clear targets and knowing where you stand, this is for you.

This post is Ermelo-based, with most of your time spent at a cross-border transport company.

The work, day to day

Keep the cab clean and report defects at the end of each trip
Complete border paperwork at Beitbridge, Lebombo or other posts
Keep the logbook and tachograph or telematics records up to date
Drive planned routes and stop only at approved truck stops
Deliver to customers and get proof-of-delivery signed and stamped

Must-haves

Passport for cross-border routes
Valid Code 14 (EC) licence
Able to be away from home for several nights at a time
Clean criminal record

Nice if you have

Dangerous goods training certificate
Experience on a specific trailer type (tanker, tipper, reefer)
Defensive driving course

On offer
