Job Description

Long hours, clean record, safe arrival every time: that is what a cold-chain logistics fleet in Montague Gardens pays for. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

Location: Montague Gardens, Western Cape. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

The work, day to day

Follow hazchem rules, placards and emergency procedures on tanker loads
Drive planned routes and stop only at approved truck stops
Deliver to customers and get proof-of-delivery signed and stamped
Report breakdowns, delays and incidents to the controller immediately
Check reefer temperatures and record them on cold-chain loads

You'll need

Passport for cross-border routes
Valid PrDP (G for goods, D for dangerous goods on tankers)
Clean criminal record
Valid Code 14 (EC) licence
At least 3 years on Code 14 trucks
