Code 14 Interlink Driver (Cross-Border) – Fixed-Term

Experienced Code 14 drivers are in short supply, and a cold-chain logistics fleet in Bethlehem is hiring. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

Location: Bethlehem, Free State. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.

• Keep the cab clean and report defects at the end of each trip
• Keep the logbook and tachograph or telematics records up to date
• Report breakdowns, delays and incidents to the controller immediately
• Carry out fuel stops with the fuel card and keep the slips
• Check reefer temperatures and record them on cold-chain loads

• Able to be away from home for several nights at a time
• At least 3 years on Code 14 trucks
• Clean driving record with no serious accidents
• Clean criminal record

• Clean record on a telematics driving score
• Experience on a specific trailer type (tanker, tipper, reefer)
• Knowledge of SADC border routes

• Provident fund and medical aid option
• Monthly safe-driving and fuel-saving bonus
• Well-maintained trucks with sleeper cabs

• Put your licence code, PrDP expiry date and years on Code 14 in the first three lines. Transport managers scan for those first.
• Be honest about accidents or fines. Companies check your driving record anyway and trust drivers who tell them upfront.
