Job Description

The road is your office with a cross-border transport company based in Cape Town CBD, and the load gets there because of you. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

You'll report in Cape Town CBD. Relocation is not covered for this one.

What you'll actually do

Complete border paperwork at Beitbridge, Lebombo or other posts
Carry out fuel stops with the fuel card and keep the slips
Check the load is secured, strapped or sealed before leaving the depot
Follow hazchem rules, placards and emergency procedures on tanker loads
Keep the cab clean and report defects at the end of each trip

You'll need

At least 3 years on Code 14 trucks
Able to be away from home for several nights at a time
Valid PrDP (G for goods, D for dangerous goods on tankers)
Clean driving record with no serious accidents
Valid Code 14 (EC) licence

Extra points for

Clean record on a telematics driving score
Experience on a specific trailer type (tanker, tipper, reefer)
