Job Description

The road is your office with a cross-border transport company based in eMalahleni, and the load gets there because of you. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

Location: eMalahleni, Mpumalanga. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first.

What you'll actually do

Check the load is secured, strapped or sealed before leaving the depot
Keep the logbook and tachograph or telematics records up to date
Deliver to customers and get proof-of-delivery signed and stamped
Carry out fuel stops with the fuel card and keep the slips
Check reefer temperatures and record them on cold-chain loads
Report breakdowns, delays and incidents to the controller immediately

Must-haves

Able to be away from home for several nights at a time
At least 3 years on Code 14 trucks
Valid Code 14 (EC) licence
Clean criminal record
Valid PrDP (G for goods, D for dangerous goods on tankers)
Clean driving record with no serious accidents
