Code 14 Interlink Driver (Cross-Border)

You'll move heavy loads between Ermelo and depots across the country for a cross-border transport company. If you like clear targets and knowing where you stand, this is for you.

Home base is a cross-border transport company on the Ermelo side of Mpumalanga.

• Carry out fuel stops with the fuel card and keep the slips
• Check reefer temperatures and record them on cold-chain loads
• Keep the cab clean and report defects at the end of each trip
• Report breakdowns, delays and incidents to the controller immediately
• Deliver to customers and get proof-of-delivery signed and stamped

• Clean driving record with no serious accidents
• Valid PrDP (G for goods, D for dangerous goods on tankers)
• Passport for cross-border routes
• Medically fit, including eyesight

• Knowledge of SADC border routes
• Clean record on a telematics driving score
• Experience on a specific trailer type (tanker, tipper, reefer)

• Provident fund and medical aid option
• Paid PrDP renewal
• Well-maintained trucks with sleeper cabs

• Be honest about accidents or fines. Companies check your driving record anyway and trust drivers who tell them upfront.
• Put your licence code, PrDP expiry date and years on Code 14 in the first three lines. Transport managers scan for those first.
