Job Description

You'll move heavy loads between Germiston and depots across the country for a cold-chain logistics fleet. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

You'll be based at a cold-chain logistics fleet in Germiston. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Shifts rotate, so you'll need to be flexible about days and nights.

What you'll actually do

Carry out fuel stops with the fuel card and keep the slips
Keep the logbook and tachograph or telematics records up to date
Drive planned routes and stop only at approved truck stops
Log driving hours and take the required rest breaks
Check the load is secured, strapped or sealed before leaving the depot
Check reefer temperatures and record them on cold-chain loads

What you need

Passport for cross-border routes
Valid Code 14 (EC) licence
Able to be away from home for several nights at a time
Medically fit, including eyesight

Nice if you have

Clean record on a telematics driving score
Defensive driving course
