Job Description

Long hours, clean record, safe arrival every time: that is what a cross-border transport company in Krugersdorp pays for. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

You'll be based at a cross-border transport company in Krugersdorp. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.

What you'll actually do

Carry out fuel stops with the fuel card and keep the slips
Check reefer temperatures and record them on cold-chain loads
Log driving hours and take the required rest breaks
Do a full pre-trip inspection: tyres, brakes, lights, couplings and fluids
Follow hazchem rules, placards and emergency procedures on tanker loads

Must-haves

At least 3 years on Code 14 trucks
Passport for cross-border routes
Clean driving record with no serious accidents
Medically fit, including eyesight
Clean criminal record
Valid Code 14 (EC) licence
