Code 14 Interlink Driver (Cross-Border) – Experienced

Experienced Code 14 drivers are in short supply, and a cold-chain logistics fleet in Mossel Bay is hiring. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

Location: Mossel Bay, Western Cape. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.

• Complete border paperwork at Beitbridge, Lebombo or other posts
• Log driving hours and take the required rest breaks
• Follow hazchem rules, placards and emergency procedures on tanker loads
• Check the load is secured, strapped or sealed before leaving the depot
• Report breakdowns, delays and incidents to the controller immediately
• Deliver to customers and get proof-of-delivery signed and stamped

• Clean criminal record
• Medically fit, including eyesight
• Valid Code 14 (EC) licence
• At least 3 years on Code 14 trucks
• Passport for cross-border routes

• Provident fund and medical aid option
• Paid PrDP renewal
• Overnight and subsistence allowance on trips

• Expect a driving test with a real truck. Arrive rested and do your pre-trip check out loud so the assessor sees it.
• Be honest about accidents or fines. Companies check your driving record anyway and trust drivers who tell them upfront.
