Code 14 Refrigerated Truck Driver – Immediate Start

Experienced Code 14 drivers are in short supply, and a cross-border transport company in Atlantis is hiring. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

The work is in Atlantis, Western Cape, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. The first two weeks are spent shadowing someone experienced.

• Check reefer temperatures and record them on cold-chain loads
• Carry out fuel stops with the fuel card and keep the slips
• Complete border paperwork at Beitbridge, Lebombo or other posts
• Keep the cab clean and report defects at the end of each trip
• Keep the logbook and tachograph or telematics records up to date

• Clean driving record with no serious accidents
• Valid Code 14 (EC) licence
• Valid PrDP (G for goods, D for dangerous goods on tankers)
• Passport for cross-border routes

• Well-maintained trucks with sleeper cabs
• Monthly safe-driving and fuel-saving bonus
• Paid PrDP renewal

• Expect a driving test with a real truck. Arrive rested and do your pre-trip check out loud so the assessor sees it.
• Put your licence code, PrDP expiry date and years on Code 14 in the first three lines. Transport managers scan for those first.
