Job Description

Long hours, clean record, safe arrival every time: that is what a cold-chain logistics fleet in Johannesburg CBD pays for. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

This post is in Johannesburg CBD (Gauteng). Please only apply if you can travel there daily.

What your day looks like

Report breakdowns, delays and incidents to the controller immediately
Check the load is secured, strapped or sealed before leaving the depot
Check reefer temperatures and record them on cold-chain loads
Log driving hours and take the required rest breaks
Keep the cab clean and report defects at the end of each trip
Complete border paperwork at Beitbridge, Lebombo or other posts
Carry out fuel stops with the fuel card and keep the slips

What you need

Clean driving record with no serious accidents
Medically fit, including eyesight
Clean criminal record
Valid Code 14 (EC) licence
Able to be away from home for several nights at a time
