Job Description

Long hours, clean record, safe arrival every time: that is what a fuel distribution fleet in Atlantis pays for. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

Location: Atlantis, Western Cape. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first.

What your day looks like

Keep the logbook and tachograph or telematics records up to date
Complete border paperwork at Beitbridge, Lebombo or other posts
Check the load is secured, strapped or sealed before leaving the depot
Keep the cab clean and report defects at the end of each trip
Check reefer temperatures and record them on cold-chain loads

Must-haves

Clean criminal record
Valid Code 14 (EC) licence
Clean driving record with no serious accidents
Able to be away from home for several nights at a time
Valid PrDP (G for goods, D for dangerous goods on tankers)

Extra points for

Clean record on a telematics driving score
Knowledge of SADC border routes
Experience on a specific trailer type (tanker, tipper, reefer)
