Job Description

For a courier depot in Cape Town CBD, fast and careful deliveries keep customers coming back. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

The site is in Cape Town CBD; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying.

The work, day to day

Fill up the vehicle and keep fuel slips for the logbook
Phone customers when the address is hard to find
Follow the delivery app for route and stop order
Scan parcels on delivery and take a photo or signature
Return undelivered parcels to the depot with a reason code

Must-haves

Smartphone and comfortable using delivery apps
At least 1 year of driving experience
Valid Code 8 (B) licence, or A licence for motorbike roles
Able to work Saturdays
Polite with customers at the door
Clean driving record and no criminal record

Nice if you have

Your own reliable bakkie or bike for owner-driver contracts
Knowledge of the city's industrial areas
