Job Description

You'll move heavy loads between Bloemfontein and depots across the country for a cold-chain logistics fleet. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

Home base is a cold-chain logistics fleet on the Bloemfontein side of Free State.

What your day looks like

Drive planned routes and stop only at approved truck stops
Keep the logbook and tachograph or telematics records up to date
Check reefer temperatures and record them on cold-chain loads
Log driving hours and take the required rest breaks
Report breakdowns, delays and incidents to the controller immediately
Check the load is secured, strapped or sealed before leaving the depot

You'll need

Clean driving record with no serious accidents
At least 3 years on Code 14 trucks
Valid Code 14 (EC) licence
Medically fit, including eyesight
Passport for cross-border routes
Able to be away from home for several nights at a time
