Job Description

The road is your office with a long-haul freight fleet based in Kempton Park, and the load gets there because of you. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

This post is in Kempton Park (Gauteng). Please only apply if you can travel there daily. There's a probation period of three months before the contract is confirmed.

The work, day to day

Log driving hours and take the required rest breaks
Carry out fuel stops with the fuel card and keep the slips
Keep the logbook and tachograph or telematics records up to date
Complete border paperwork at Beitbridge, Lebombo or other posts
Drive planned routes and stop only at approved truck stops

What you need

Medically fit, including eyesight
At least 3 years on Code 14 trucks
Able to be away from home for several nights at a time
Valid Code 14 (EC) licence
Clean driving record with no serious accidents
Clean criminal record
