Job Description

Long hours, clean record, safe arrival every time: that is what a cold-chain logistics fleet in Middelburg (MP) pays for. Good for someone who wants to build a solid track record they can put on their CV.

The site is in Middelburg (MP); early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

What you'll actually do

Drive planned routes and stop only at approved truck stops
Check the load is secured, strapped or sealed before leaving the depot
Report breakdowns, delays and incidents to the controller immediately
Check reefer temperatures and record them on cold-chain loads
Carry out fuel stops with the fuel card and keep the slips

You'll need

At least 3 years on Code 14 trucks
Medically fit, including eyesight
Valid Code 14 (EC) licence
Valid PrDP (G for goods, D for dangerous goods on tankers)
Clean driving record with no serious accidents
