Job Description

The road is your office with a long-haul freight fleet based in Epping, and the load gets there because of you. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

Location: Epping, Western Cape. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

What you'll actually do

Follow hazchem rules, placards and emergency procedures on tanker loads
Drive planned routes and stop only at approved truck stops
Check the load is secured, strapped or sealed before leaving the depot
Carry out fuel stops with the fuel card and keep the slips
Complete border paperwork at Beitbridge, Lebombo or other posts

What you need

Able to be away from home for several nights at a time
Passport for cross-border routes
Valid PrDP (G for goods, D for dangerous goods on tankers)
Medically fit, including eyesight
Clean driving record with no serious accidents
