Job Description

Every parcel scanned, every drop confirmed: that is the job at an e-commerce delivery hub in Benoni. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

The work is in Benoni, Gauteng, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

The work, day to day

Scan parcels on delivery and take a photo or signature
Fill up the vehicle and keep fuel slips for the logbook
Collect spares and parts from suppliers and bring them to the workshop
Follow the delivery app for route and stop order
Keep your vehicle or bike clean and report faults
Bank cheques, post documents and run office errands

You'll need

Good sense of direction and map reading
Polite with customers at the door
Smartphone and comfortable using delivery apps
Able to work Saturdays
At least 1 year of driving experience
Valid Code 8 (B) licence, or A licence for motorbike roles

Extra points for

Knowledge of the city's industrial areas
PrDP for staff shuttle posts
