Job Description

You'll zip parcels, spares or documents around Gqeberha for a courier depot, all day, all over town. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

Home base is a courier depot on the Gqeberha side of Eastern Cape.

The work, day to day

Collect spares and parts from suppliers and bring them to the workshop
Scan parcels on delivery and take a photo or signature
Load parcels in route order from the depot scanning area
Return undelivered parcels to the depot with a reason code
Deliver chronic medication to patients' homes and confirm ID

What you need

At least 1 year of driving experience
Able to work Saturdays
Valid Code 8 (B) licence, or A licence for motorbike roles
Smartphone and comfortable using delivery apps
Polite with customers at the door

Helpful, not essential

Previous courier or last-mile experience
Knowledge of the city's industrial areas
Your own reliable bakkie or bike for owner-driver contracts
