Job Description

Packing season at a berry packing facility near Burgersfort means lots of shifts and lots of work. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

You'll be based at a berry packing facility in Burgersfort. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. There's a probation period of three months before the contract is confirmed.

What you'll actually do

Follow food safety rules like hand washing and no jewellery
Help clean the line and machines at the end of the day
Sort fruit by size, colour and blemish on the packing line
Build pallets to the correct height and strap them
Move pallets into cold rooms and record temperatures

You'll need

Able to stand at a line for long shifts
Valid ID or permit
Follows hygiene rules at all times
Arrives on time for early shifts
Quick and neat with your hands
