Job Description

This vehicle finance collections floor in Bethlehem needs a calm negotiator who can hear "no" without giving up. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

You'll report in Bethlehem. Relocation is not covered for this one.

What you'll actually do

Record reasons for non-payment so the credit team can adjust policy.
Negotiate payment arrangements and set up DebiCheck mandates.
Send written arrangements by SMS or email straight after each call.
Track broken promises-to-pay and follow up within 48 hours.
Update debtor contact details from tracing searches.

Must-haves

At least 6 months in collections, sales or a call centre
Clear credit and criminal record
Matric
You keep your tone respectful even when the debtor is not
Registered, or willing to register, with the Council for Debt Collectors

On offer

Structured weekday hours with only occasional Saturdays
Uncapped monthly commission on collected rands
Council for Debt Collectors registration paid for you
