Job Description

Hit your collection targets at this vehicle finance collections floor in Soweto and your commission shows it. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

Home base is a vehicle finance collections floor on the Soweto side of Gauteng.

What your day looks like

Track broken promises-to-pay and follow up within 48 hours.
Dial through your arrears book on the auto-dialler and confirm the debtor's identity.
Answer disputes about balances, interest and fees with a printed statement.
Keep calls within the National Credit Act and the Debt Collectors Act rules.
Update debtor contact details from tracing searches.
Hand accounts over for legal action once internal steps are exhausted.
Record reasons for non-payment so the credit team can adjust policy.

Must-haves

Matric
At least 6 months in collections, sales or a call centre
Clear credit and criminal record
You keep your tone respectful even when the debtor is not
Registered, or willing to register, with the Council for Debt Collectors
Target-driven and comfortable with commission

Extra points for

Experience on a collections system such as Debtmaster or a dialler platform
Knowledge of the NCA and prescription rules

What you get

Uncapped monthly commission on collected rands
