Job Description

This municipal accounts office in Atlantis needs a calm negotiator who can hear "no" without giving up. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

You'll report in Atlantis. Relocation is not covered for this one.

What you'll actually do

Update debtor contact details from tracing searches.
Track broken promises-to-pay and follow up within 48 hours.
Keep calls within the National Credit Act and the Debt Collectors Act rules.
Report daily on rands collected, contacts made and arrangements set.
Dial through your arrears book on the auto-dialler and confirm the debtor's identity.

You'll need

Target-driven and comfortable with commission
Good with numbers, dates and payment calculations
Matric
At least 6 months in collections, sales or a call centre

Extra points for

Knowledge of the NCA and prescription rules
A second South African language
