Job Description

For an engineering firm in Alberton, fast and careful deliveries keep customers coming back. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

This post is Alberton-based, with most of your time spent at an engineering firm.

What your day looks like

Scan parcels on delivery and take a photo or signature
Bank cheques, post documents and run office errands
Phone customers when the address is hard to find
Return undelivered parcels to the depot with a reason code
Collect spares and parts from suppliers and bring them to the workshop

What you need

Good sense of direction and map reading
Able to work Saturdays
At least 1 year of driving experience
Valid Code 8 (B) licence, or A licence for motorbike roles
Smartphone and comfortable using delivery apps
Clean driving record and no criminal record

Nice if you have

Knowledge of the city's industrial areas
Your own reliable bakkie or bike for owner-driver contracts
PrDP for staff shuttle posts
